Health coaching · Education · A more connected approach
How it works

A thoughtful beginning. A clear path forward.

You don’t need to arrive with everything organized—or even know exactly what you need. We begin with a few simple steps designed to make sure coaching is a good fit and give our first conversation meaningful context.

Begin the conversation
“Come with your questions, your notes, and the parts that don’t quite add up yet. We’ll begin there.”
From curious to connected

Six steps. No guesswork.

Each step creates clarity before the next, while keeping the process personal and manageable.

Complete a brief application

Tell me what brings you here, what you hope to understand, and what kind of support you’re looking for. This is a short first step—not your full health history.

Make sure it fits

Review and confirm

I review your application to make sure your goals fit the coaching and educational role. If your needs require medical evaluation or another kind of professional support, I’ll say so clearly.

Know what to expect

Read and sign your coaching documents

Before we begin, you’ll review the coaching agreement, informed-consent disclosures, professional-status disclosure, communication consent, privacy acknowledgment, and applicable policies.

Share the bigger picture

Complete your thoughtful intake

Your secure intake gives you room to describe your history, priorities, current healthcare team, goals, and the information you want to explore. You may also organize relevant documents in the portal.

Choose your time

Schedule through Practice Better

Once the required steps are complete, you’ll choose an available appointment in the secure portal. Any applicable coaching selection and payment details will be presented clearly before booking.

Connect the dots

Have the conversation

We meet privately, explore your questions in context, and identify practical educational next steps. Afterward, your plan and any agreed follow-up are kept together in your portal.

Your secure Practice Better portal

One place for the practical details.

The portal reduces loose emails, misplaced documents, and uncertainty about what comes next. Use the Client Login and Start Here links on this site to connect directly to Practice Better.

Before your first session

You don’t need a perfect binder.

Bring what is useful. Leave behind the pressure to make your story tidy before we talk.

Your most important questionsWhat do you most want to understand, organize, or approach differently?
Your current prioritiesWhat feels urgent—and what would make the biggest difference in daily life?
Relevant informationShare only the history, reports, or materials that are meaningful to the coaching conversation.
Your healthcare teamKnow which medical questions belong with your physician or other licensed clinician.
Your session locationConfirm where you will physically be during the session as part of the intake and eligibility process.
Privacy & communication

Use the portal for sensitive information.

Practice Better is the intended home for intake forms, coaching documents, and private coaching communication. Ordinary email and text may have privacy limitations and should be used only as described in your communication consent.

Urgent or medical needs

Coaching is not emergency care.

Heidi Unscripted does not monitor messages continuously and does not provide emergency or medical services. For urgent medical concerns, contact your licensed healthcare professional, call 911, or use the appropriate emergency service.

“The process should help you feel more clear—before our first conversation even begins.”
When you’re ready

Start with a few questions. We’ll take it one thoughtful step at a time.
